Day 4 - 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting | Día 4 - 40 Días de Oración y Ayuno

As I encouraged my youngest to have a Bible study with me, he said he wanted to read Exodus. “Great!” I said. Nothing better than to see you child showed some interest in the Scriptures.

Cuando animé a mi hijo menor a estudiar la Biblia conmigo, él dijo que quería leer el libro de Éxodo. “¡Excelente!” dije yo. No hay nada mejor que ver a un hijo mostrar interés por las Escrituras.

So, off we went on an adventure through the wonderful story of Moses. The whole matter brought my mind back to our time of prayer and fasting. You see, GOD is about to perform some of the greatest miracles ever recorded in history, and it is all predicated on the fact that His people were praying to him. “And God heard their groaning…” (Exodus 2:24)

Así que embarcamos en esa aventura a través de la maravillosa historia de Moisés. Todo esto me recordó nuestro tiempo de oración y ayuno. Verás, Dios estaba a punto de realizar algunos de los milagros más grandes jamás registrados en la historia, y todo ello se basaba en el hecho de que su pueblo le estaba orando. Y “Dios oyó su gemido…” (Éxodo 2:24).

As GOD meets Moses through the burning bush in the next chapter, we see the same sentiment. He told Moses: “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry… I know their sufferings…” (Exodus 3:7)

Cuando Dios se encuentra con Moisés a través de la zarza ardiente en el capítulo que sigue, vemos el mismo sentir. Él le dijo a Moisés: “Ciertamente he visto la aflicción de Mi pueblo que está en Egipto, y he escuchado su clamor… pues estoy consciente de sus sufrimientos.” (Éxodo 3:7).

So be encouraged by that today. These stories are recorded for our benefit. You are praying to a GOD who knows your sufferings. He is aware of every tear. Our humble prayers are not falling on deaf ears, but go straight to the heart of our Father, who loved us so much, He gave His only begotten Son, that we may be reconciled to Him.

Así que anímate con esto hoy. Estas historias quedaron registradas para nuestro beneficio. Estás orando a un Dios que conoce tus sufrimientos. Él esta consciente de cada lágrima. Nuestras oraciones humildes no caen en oídos sordos, sino que llegan directamente al corazón de nuestro Padre, quien nos amó tanto que entregó a su Hijo unigénito para que pudiéramos reconciliarnos con Él.

He will come to our aid. He will answer. He will rescue. All in His perfect time. We cannot improve on His perfect plan. Our task is to trust Him. With all our hearts, let us honor Him with our deference.

Él vendrá a nuestra ayuda. Él responderá. Él nos rescatará. Todo a su debido tiempo. No podemos mejorar Su plan perfecto. Nuestra tarea es confiar en Él. Honrémosle con todo nuestro corazón, rindiéndonos ante su voluntad.

May our complete surrender be a testimony to His Glory at this crucial hour.
