10 Reminders as We Engage in Spiritual Battle | 10 Recordatorios Mientras Peleamos la Batalla Espiritual

Church, as we seek the LORD and try to stay spiritually attuned to the moment we are living in, we can sense some attacks coming towards many in our church. So, what do we do when we feel the enemy’s schemes about us? | Iglesia, mientras buscamos el rostro de DIOS y tratamos de mantenernos sintonizados espiritualmente en este momento que vivimos, podemos detectar los ataques del enemigo dirigidos a muchos de nuestra iglesia. Así que, ¿qué podemos hacer cuando sentimos esos ataques en nuestras vidas?

GOD has given us a strategy. It is found in Ephesians 6:10-20. Here it is revealed that we are to “take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day” (v.13). | DIOS nos ha dado una estrategia. Se encuentra en Efesios 6:10-20. Ahí se nos revela que debemos tomar “toda la armadura de Dios, para que [podamos] resistir en el día malo” (v.13).

So I commend the passage to you today. If you are feeling those attacks. Get ready for battle. You are not alone, but you must be prepared. If the enemy wants a fight, we’ll give him a fight. And our victory is guaranteed. | Así que hoy les encomiendo ese pasaje. Si sienten esos ataques, prepárense para la batalla. No están solos, pero deben estar preparados. Si el enemigo quiere una pelea, se la daremos. Y nuestra victoria está garantizada.

As you read, notice a few things: | Mientras lees, nota algunas cosas:

1. It doesn’t matter how you feel. We are to “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might” (v. 10). We fight in His strength, not ours. | No importa cómo te sientas. Tenemos que “fortal[ecernos] en el Señor y en el poder de Su fuerza.” Nosotros peleamos en Sus fuerzas, no las nuestras.
   

2. Don’t neglect any piece of the armor. “Put on the whole armor of God” (v. 11), it says. Every piece is important. | No descuides ninguna parte de la armadura. “Revístanse con toda la armadura de Dios,” dice el pasaje (v. 11). Cada parte es importante.
   

3. The fight is spiritual. No need to fight your husband, children, boss, family, friends, or even detractors.  We’re fighting “spiritual forces of evil” (v. 12). Fight in God’s wisdom, not man’s. | La batalla es espiritual. Olvídate de pelear con tu esposo(a), hijo(a), familia, amigos o incluso con tus detractores. Estamos peleando contra “fuerzas espirituales de maldad” (v. 12). Pelea en la sabiduría de Dios y no la del hombre.
   

4. Shore up the belt of Truth (v.14). Take away lies from your lips. Repent of any deception. Are you believing lies about yourself? Stand on truth, whatever the cost. | Ajustémonos el cinturón de la Verdad (v.14). Aparta las mentiras de tus labios. Arrepiéntete de cualquier engaño. ¿Estás creyendo en mentiras sobre ti mismo? Aférrate a la verdad, cueste lo que cueste.
   

5. Walk in righteousness (v.14). Do what is right. Do not let the enemy manipulate you into going against God’s decrees. It will only hurt you further. Do not pay evil with evil. | Camina en lo correcto (v.14). No permitas que el enemigo te manipule para ir en contra de los decretos de Dios. Eso solo te causará más daño. No pagues mal por mal.
   

6. Ready yourself with the Good News (v.15). God so loved you, He gave His Son that you may spend eternity with Him, if you believe. Stand ready to proclaim that truth to anyone around you. | Prepárate con las Buenas Nuevas (v.15). Dios te ama tanto que entregó a Su Hijo Unigénito para que puedas morar con Él por siempre, si crees en Él. Mantente listo para proclamar esa verdad a los que te rodean.
   

7. Never leave the shield of faith (v.16). Do not concentrate on what’s in front of you. Believe the promise of GOD. Our eyes deceive us, and the enemy will confuse us and even try to scare us with the physical world. Remember that’s not the real fight. God takes care of the birds of the field. He will take care of you. | Nunca dejes el escudo de la fe (v.16). No te centres en lo que tienes delante. Cree en las promesas de Dios. Nuestros ojos nos engañan, y el enemigo intentará confundirnos e incluso asustarnos con el mundo físico. Recuerda que esa no es la verdadera batalla. Dios cuida de las aves del campo; Él cuidará de ti también.
   

8. You are protected. God’s salvation is a helmet to you (v.17). What can man or the enemy ultimately do? God is in control. Stand on His Grace, above any human effort. | Estas protegido. La salvación del Señor es tu casco de protección (v.17). ¿Qué puede hacerte el hombre o el enemigo en última instancia? Dios está en control. Ampárate en Su gracia, por encima de cualquier esfuerzo humano.
   

9. Arm yourself. Stay in God’s Word daily; that’s our sword (v.17). We are not only defending ourselves. We are actually engaged in an offensive that will destroy the schemes of the devil. Charge! | Ármate. Permanece en la Palabra de Dios a diario; esa es nuestra espada (v. 17). No nos limitamos a defendernos; en realidad, estamos desarrollando una ofensiva que destruirá las artimañas del diablo. ¡Al ataque!
   

10. And pray! At all times, in all things, interceding for your church family too (v.18). We are one body. GOD hears our prayers and moves with power through them. Never stop praying. | ¡Y ora! En todo tiempo, en todas las cosas, intercediendo también por tu familia de la iglesia (v. 18).  Somos un cuerpo. DIOS escucha nuestras oraciones y se mueve con poder a través de ellas. Nunca dejes de orar.
