Now that the governor has declared a State of Emergency due to the winter weather that is likely to impact our area, we want to be proactive in communicating with you, and making sure everyone is safe. | Ahora que la gobernadora ha declarado un Estado de Emergencia debido a la tormenta de nieve que se reporta impactará nuestra área, nos gustaría ser proactivos en nuestra comunicación con ustedes para así asegurarnos que todos estén a salvo.

They say the storm is likely to hit our area on Saturday evening, and last throughout the day on Sunday, perhaps into Monday. So we will go ahead and cancel our service for this Sunday, and we will contact you again if anything changes.  | Dicen que es probable que la tormenta llegue a nuestra zona el sábado por la noche y que dure todo el día del domingo, e incluso hasta el lunes. Por lo tanto, cancelaremos nuestro servicio para este domingo y nos pondremos en contacto con ustedes nuevamente si hay algún cambio.

Please take the time to prepare for the storm now. Do not wait until tomorrow. Get gas and groceries. Remember that power may be affected, so canned food, batteries and portable lamps, candles, chargers, etc., are usually recommended.  Water is also extremely important. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High    will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,    my God, in whom I trust.” El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo descansará a la sombra del Todopoderoso. Yo digo al Señor: «Tú eres mi refugio, mi fortaleza, el Dios en quien confío».

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Solo él puede librarte de las trampas del cazador y de mortíferas plagas, pues te cubrirá con sus plumas    y bajo sus alas hallarás refugio. Su verdad será tu escudo y tu baluarte. No temerás el terror de la noche ni la flecha que vuela de día6 ni la plaga que acecha en las sombras ni la peste que destruye a mediodía. Podrán caer a tu lado mil y diez mil a tu derecha, pero a ti no te afectará. No tendrás más que abrir bien los ojos    para ver a los impíos recibir su merecido.

Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—  the Most High, who is my refuge— no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. Ya que has puesto al Señor por tu refugio, al Altísimo por tu protección, ningún mal habrá de sobrevenirte, ningún desastre llegará a tu hogar.

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. Porque él ordenará que sus ángeles te protejan en todos tus caminos. Con sus propias manos te sostendrán para que no tropieces con piedra alguna. Aplastarás al león y a la víbora; hollarás al cachorro de león y a la serpiente.
